Driven by a desire to work closely with people, Dan McMillan got his start in the financial services industry in 1986. Ever since, he’s worked to help clients reach their financial goals by providing sound investment advice with great attention to detail.

After launching his career with Prudential Securities, Dan moved to PaineWebber in 1988. He stayed with the firm for 10 years before setting out to establish Early McClintic & McMillan with Richard and Scott in 1997.

He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science, and obtained his Certified Financial Planner™ professional designation in 1992.

A committed volunteer leader, Dan has served on the board of the Exchange Club of Sugar Land, the advisory board and capital campaign committee of the Fort Bend Women’s Center, and the administrative council at Parkway United Methodist Church. He has also been actively involved in Fort Bend Young Life and has devoted his considerable organizational talents to chairing Santa’s Exchange, which provides Christmas gifts to thousands of lesser-privileged local children.

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dan came to Texas in 1965. He currently resides in Sugar Land with his wife, Becky. The couple has two children, Nathan and Haley and two grandchildren, Owen and Theo.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys riding his motorcycle, taking care of his homestead, and cheering on his alma mater Texas A&M, and his kids’ schools, Baylor University and Stephen F. Austin State University.
